Betting Ole Miss - Oklahoma: Is the Rebels’ offense too much for the Sooners’ defense?

ESPN - Pamela Maldonado, October 24, 2025

Kiffy’s Take

I don’t think it can be overstated how big of an inflection point this game is for the Kiffin saga. An Ole Miss playoff run is one of the big threats to Florida’s pursuit of him. A win here puts Ole Miss in prime position for the post-season. Pam nailed the Ole Miss vs. UGA game last week. And since I have a prediction of my own that follows a similar line of thought, I picked hers to highlight here. As for me, I think the Rebels win by the narrowest of margins, 21-20. As uncomfortable as the Ole Miss defense has looked at times, they do bow up and hold opponents to FGs on about 35% of scoring drives. Do those count as stops? For this defense, they probably should.

Lane or Bust? Swampcast discusses Florida coaching search

Gainesville Sun - Kevin Brockway, October 22, 2025

Long-form video discussion among Florida beat writers about the Gator job. They touch on Kiffin and a slew of secondary candidates (Drinkwitz, in particular) who might come into play if the Gators cannot land their top choice. Fast-forward to the 15:55 mark to get into the best stuff. Read the full story.

Kiffy’s Take

These three guys lay out a very sober, but still optimistic view of the Florida job. The weaving of Drinkwitz into the conversation may be a smokescreen, but it feels like there might be something there. (And, no, Billy Gonzales will not be the permanent coach!)
